From the time Pete was a small child, visual stimulation has been an important factor in his life. From the stereo color nature slides a doctor used during eye therapy, to his first camera at eight years old. Many members of Pete's family had a serious interest in photography, mostly recording memories of family events. One family member stands out as persueing photography on a more artistic level. Pete's Uncle, Tony Hartin was a fantastic photographer. As a teenager and young adult he had a really cool Black and White darkroom. On Pete's twelfth birthday Tony gave him a beginner darkroom kit and he never looked back.
